Ana Paula is a highly accomplished sourcing and procurement operations executive with a consistent history of directing successful global and domestic organizations, where she drives growth, improves efficiency, and enables new capabilities to meet changing business needs. A specialist in transformation, technology deployment, service outsourcing, and risk mitigation. Ana Paula is a strategic advisor for CxOs and boards; a creative thinker who successfully leverages data and technology to drive practices that mitigate risk, promote growth, and adhere to compliance in highly regulated industries, including agro-industrial, banking and aerospace.
Ana Paula is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ReSource Partners LLC, a Procurement and Sourcing Consultancy focused on driving value in third-party spend. Her firm develops strategies for cost optimization, technology enablement, procurement processes, contract negotiation and risk management that align seamlessly with organizational goals. Her clients span from Financial Services to Manufacturing and Private Equity firms.
Previously, Ana Paula served as Senior Vice President, Procurement for The Huntington National Bank (Nasdq:HBAN), a $183B Regional Bank. In this role she developed a long-range strategic roadmap that enables scalability, efficiency, cost effectiveness and digitalization by collaborating with executive leadership and across all levels of corporate business line function leaders. She developed processes and governance for organizational transformation. Ana Paula served as advisor for merger of equals with TCF National Bank and Chemical Bank, and the acquisition of TCF National Bank by Huntington Bank. During her tenure at TCF, Ana Paula was appointed by the Board of Directors as a member of the ESG Council to drive investor value and improve ESG disclosures, resulting in improved agency ratings.
Prior to her time with Huntington Bank, Ana Paula was the Global Supply Chain Leader at Pentair (NYSE: PNR), a $3.8B Water and Industrial Sustainable Solutions company, where she directed global supply chain functions including raw materials, warehousing, strategic sourcing, distribution center operations, and transportation. In less than two years, she reduced the supply chain cycle, saving millions of dollars, led multiple Six Sigma improvement initiatives, and streamlined the process of moving goods from production facilities in Mexico to multiple retailers.
From 2011 to 2015, Ana Paula was the Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement for Cargill, a $165B organization with business in 70 countries. During that time, she established a global data analytics team and a Governance Board. She also produced millions of dollars in savings through supplier negotiations, migration of work to offshore partners, and implementation of new technologies. In addition, she transformed the organization into a Service Procurement model to serve as a strategic partner for international business units. She earned a Spectrum of Excellence Award for Leadership in Market Intelligence.
Ana Paula also spent 16 years at Alcoa in various management roles in Engineering, Finance and Operations. She engaged in transactions for projects globally in Europe, Latin America, Australia, and Middle East, and served as a member of the Global Procurement Leadership Team working across technical and business teams.
Ana Paula holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from St. Mary’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Midwestern State University. She completed Executive Education programs at Harvard Business School in Boston, MA
Since 2015, Ana Paula serves as Board Committee Member for the Institute for Supply Management (ISM). She is involved with various non-profit organization, and currently serves as Chairwomen, Executive Committee to the YMCA Camp Ihduhapi Board.
