His leadership in strategic alliances, joint ventures, and M&A projects across industries like construction, distribution, financial services, manufacturing, and technology has delivered significant financial impact. He has also expanded opportunities for small and diverse businesses, contributing to job creation and economic growth both in the U.S. and globally.

Combining his experiences and relationships, Shelly continues to be a driving force for positive change in both the business world and in the community. He serves as Chair of the Nomination and Governance Committee for the Habitat for Humanity – Lake County, IL. In 2023, he was appointed to the Board of Trustees for William Woods University serving on the Development and Resources (Finance) Committees and is a Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from William Woods University and has completed Executive Education coursework at Dartmouth College.
