Ahmad leads initiatives to enhance the resilience, security, and competitiveness of supply chains vital to U.S. national and economic interests. Since joining the Department of Commerce in 2023, Ahmad has spearheaded the development of SCALE, a pioneering supply chain risk assessment tool that uses advanced analytics to uncover systemic vulnerabilities across industries. His efforts have driven the integration of cutting-edge analytic solutions and commercial data mining platforms, enabling more effective risk assessments and bolstering the capabilities of industry and trade experts. Ahmad’s leadership has positioned the Risk Analytics team as a critical partner in shaping strategies to mitigate risks and safeguard supply chain resilience in an increasingly interconnected and complex global environment.
