ISM-Western Washington Supply Chain: Leveraging Cyber Threat Intelligence
This session will help supply management professionals understand and utilize cyber threat intelligence (CTI) in their procurement decisions. We will examine the post-COVID cyber threat landscape and explain why procurement professionals are increasingly targeted. Cohen will provide practical guidance on integrating CTI into supply chain operations and building cyber risk management frameworks, supported by real-world case studies like the Target breach, and will conclude with actionable steps for implementing cyber resilience measures in procurement processes.

Remi Cohen is currently a Senior Security Manager with F5 leading the Cyber Threat Intelligence Program conducting focused multi-factor threat intelligence and leading investigations encompassing the threat intelligence lifecycle and digital forensics. Prior to F5 she worked for a large national laboratory as a Department of Defense civilian analyst, leading penetration tests and vulnerability assessments. Along with leading offensive security testing, she also conducted research on current threats. Remi started her career at the U.S. State Department as a Threat Intelligence Analyst and Reverse Engineer. Her specialty areas of research include mobile vulnerabilities and Eastern European threats. Remi is a founding member of the Western Washington Women in Cybersecurity Chapter and is a passionate advocate for bringing in and keeping women in Cybersecurity. Among other industry certifications she holds a CISSP certification. She holds a Master’s degree from New Mexico State University in Industrial Engineering as well as Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Government from Georgetown University.
