Dr. Jay Walker: Jay is an Associate Professor of Economics at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, where he serves as the Graduate Program Director for the M.A. Program in Economics and is a Fulbright Scholar (Chile). He earned a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Arkansas Tech University, an MBA from the University of Mississippi, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Memphis in 2012. Before transitioning to academia, he worked as an analyst in the insurance and retail industry for five years. Prior to joining Old Dominion University in 2017, he spent five years at Niagara University in western New York. His primary research interests include Applied Microeconomics, Labor Economics, and the Economics of Education.
