Creating a New Supply Chain to Reduce CO2

In American cities, 36 million trees fall down — or are cut down — every year. Ninety percent of them get chipped or burnt or sent to a landfill. But some of that wood could be reused into durable goods like flooring or furniture that sequester carbon dioxide (CO₂), thus reducing the amount of CO₂ in the atmosphere.
